The growth in the consumption rate of psycho addictive and hallucinogenic substances in the world market brings up questions about the future. Humanity sails for a better tomorrow, ignoring the tensions surrounding the world in during this transition from 2019 to 2020 . It could be argued and sustained that, the governments are too busy trying to solve international crisis and regulate their authority around the world that they forget to handle the minor and major issues surrounding their countries. Should we call the U.S America, too busy trying to solve the issue of their president H.E Donald Trump is the right person to be in power , If they have enough authority over other countries like IRAN who is more concerned in showing it has as much stand as North Korea has shown to have over the past years (2018-2019). Bringing all to the table , dont see African nation leaders too busy fighting to stay on the throne forever while filling their pockets that they forget to solve the basic problem of HUNGER, POVERTY, EMPLOYMENT and DEVELOPMENT in their nations. Not to talk of RUSSIA and UK too busy trying to handle political phases that they forget to check the statistics of what affects most nations. Can we talk right now (2020) about the number of people dying of drug abuse and simply losing their responsible life to get lost in alcohol and drugs or pills. Can a HIGH make ones day better , is a basic question we should ask one another. Is getting High addictive ?

Another study from Emory University researchers found that after some states legalized medical marijuana, they saw increases in overall marijuana use and, for adults 21 and over, a rise in binge drinking. The increase in binge drinking is particularly worrying because while marijuana carries few health and social risks, alcohol causes many serious public health and safety issues, such as liver damage, more fatal car crashes, and violent behaviors that can spur crime.

This latest research disputes earlier studies that found no increases in teen pot use following the legalization of medical marijuana. Drug policy experts argue these earlier studies were far less robust; they failed to control for factors like whether a state allows dispensaries, cultivation, or only possession — rendering them incapable of gauging the full effect of different pot policies. Still, the studies by and large only show correlation, meaning it might not be medical marijuana legalization that’s necessarily causing the increase in use. And it’s possible, although not likely, that the effects of medical marijuana laws on use could be more pronounced than full legalization.
